Lemon Savory - is a dwarf, woody shrub that grows to approximately 30cm high. The small 'thyme like' leaves are highly aromatic with a lemon scent. The shape is ovate and the leaves are a glossy dark to mid green colour.
Winter Thyme - This is the perfect thyme to add to your garden. Good flavor and yield. Perrenial in CO. Tastes best in late fall. Small, round to needle-shaped evergreen leaves on woody stems. Goes great with chicken.
Sage - Used in Europe and America to flavor many meats, stuffings, vinegars, and more! Fragrant leaves are also used in potpourri. 20”-tall gray-green plants are quite attractive. An easy growing Colorado perennial. Easy to grow and attracts beneficial pollinators.
Za'atar - This herb grows wild in Israel, Jordan and surrounding areas. Doubtless a common herb in Bible times, and still one of the tastiest! It has great flavor that blends hints of Oregano, Thyme and Marjoram. Try it on anything, it works on meats, vegetables, and salads and dips too. Sprinkle some on to of a roasted sweet potato. You won't be disappointed!
Marjoram - Aroma and flavor is similar to oregano, but sweeter and more delicate. Often a part of mediterranean recipes and a secret ingredient of many grandma-made pasta sauces. Also try adding some to mayo for your next sandwhich.
Oregano - Strong oregano aroma and flavor; great for pizza and Italian cooking. Characteristic dark green leaves with white flowers.
Rosemary - Rosemary is an herb in the mint family native to the Mediterranean. It is a small evergreen shrub whose 1-inch leaves resemble curved pine needles. It has a wide array of culinary uses. A heat loving plant that likes to to be kept dry. It can be brought inside during our Colorado Winters.
